Euro-Caps picks Factorise as digital shopfloor platform
June 1, 2026

Euro-Caps, one of Europe’s leading coffee capsule and nutritional supplement manufacturers, has chosen Factorise as their digital shopfloor platform.
Euro-Caps operates a high-volume, continuous production facility in the Spaanse Polder in Rotterdam. They’re replacing fragmented operator workflows and standalone maintenance tooling with one integrated platform covering four tracks: daily management (DIM/SIC in one place instead of scattered Excel, Power BI, and Forms), a new operator portal replacing legacy K2 workflows with a direct Navision/Business Central integration, integrated maintenance (replacing Ultimo with Factorise’s Machine Lifecycle suite so maintenance connects to daily operations), and a master data foundation that brings all operations-related data into one manageable model.
The rollout starts on a single line in phase 1: get the data model right, configure the basics, connect the first machine via OPC UA, and get operators working in Factorise. Phase 2 expands to a full business unit, phases out remaining legacy workflows, and connects more machines. Phase 3 rolls out across all locations, with Euro-Caps running their own Mendix Centre of Excellence.
The full platform scope, Production Execution, Machine Lifecycle, Digital Lean, and Master Data, makes this one of the most comprehensive Factorise deployments to date.
